Service clarity

Name the primary service category, ideal customer, outcome, and meaningful differentiators. Replace broad claims with language a buyer would recognize.

Use one clear H1 and an opening paragraph that can stand alone as an accurate explanation of the business.

Buyer intent

Answer what the service includes, when it is appropriate, how the process works, what preparation is required, and what a prospect should expect next.

Organize FAQs around real sales and support questions rather than keyword variations.

Local and trust signals

Publish consistent service areas, contact paths, hours where relevant, credentials, team experience, reviews, cases, policies, and first-hand proof.

Do not publish claims that cannot be confirmed. Mark client facts that require verification before they become public copy.

Conversion and structure

Give each important page a visible next step such as calling, booking, requesting a quote, or starting an intake. Explain what happens after the action.

Use descriptive headings, accessible HTML, fast mobile delivery, and internal links that connect services, evidence, methodology, and contact information.

Structured data and access

Use schema that matches visible facts. Keep important content in public HTML, respect robots.txt, and avoid requiring authentication for pages intended to support discovery.

If extraction is unreliable, investigate access and rendering before interpreting a score.

Check that AI search crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, and PerplexityBot are not blocked in robots.txt unless that is intentional, and that no noindex or nosnippet instruction hides pages you want cited. Under question-style headings, give a direct two-to-four sentence answer, and show a visible last-updated date. These steps make a page easier for AI search to read and quote; they do not guarantee citations.

Measure responsibly

Run a versioned audit, preserve the baseline, fix high-impact gaps, and re-measure after meaningful changes. Monitor score movement of five points or more rather than normal noise.

Treat every result as a diagnostic aid. It does not certify service quality or guarantee third-party outcomes.

FAQ

Which page should I audit first?

Start with the homepage or the primary service page that best represents what customers buy.

How quickly should the score change?

Re-audit after meaningful published changes and allow time for public sources and third-party systems to refresh.
